Agentic Website Design & Development

Most websites sit there.
I build websites that keep working.

The website your customers see is only the front end. Behind it, specialized agents research your market, plan content, publish, distribute, audit and improve the site after launch. While your competitors wait for someone to update another passive website, your marketing keeps moving. This isn’t an AI website builder — it’s a growth marketing platform with a website attached to it.

You are reading a website built and operated by the platform I’m describing.

The model

Your website should be part of a marketing engine.

Most websites are built as isolated projects. The designer finishes the pages, the developer launches them, and SEO, content, social and analytics each live somewhere else. The site looks modern, but it’s still waiting for people to tell it what to do.

I built a different model. Your website becomes the publishing and conversion layer of a connected marketing system. The agents behind it share the same knowledge about your brand, services, customers and goals, so research can become strategy, strategy can become content, and content can be published, distributed, checked and improved without restarting the process in five disconnected tools.

Your business doesn’t need another website to manage. It needs a system that helps run the marketing.

The category difference

They can look the same. They don’t operate the same.

Both can be beautifully designed. One waits for instructions; the other runs the repeatable work on a schedule and checks its own output.

What runs behind it

The website is the visible layer. The agents are the advantage.

Agentic doesn’t mean handing a chatbot the keys. Each agent has a specific job, access to the right tools, defined boundaries and a quality standard it must meet. The exact system depends on the business, but it can include:

  • Market & search intelligence

Analyzes search demand, keyword opportunities, existing visibility, content gaps and competitive movement — turning market signals into work the system can prioritize.

  • Research & content planning

Builds briefs from reliable sources and maps topics to the customer journey, so the content calendar isn't a random list of blog ideas.

  • Content production

Drafts structured content in your brand voice from your services, expertise and approved sources — service pages, articles, location content, FAQs — not interchangeable templates.

  • SEO & AI search optimization

Checks structure, internal links, metadata, entities and coverage so the site is understandable to search engines and the AI systems now answering questions about your market.

  • Publishing & distribution

Moves approved work into the site, schedules it and prepares channel-specific versions — so one researched idea becomes a coordinated campaign, not one forgotten article.

  • Quality assurance & monitoring

Watches the live site for broken links, missing assets, bad metadata, accessibility issues, thin pages and failed forms. Work below the bar is held for review, not quietly published.

  • Reconciliation & repair

Looks for gaps between what should exist and what does — missing cover art, orphaned drafts, pages absent from the sitemap — and corrects them before the site slowly decays.

A sumi-e workflow band: market signals flow left to right through strategy, research, content, a single red quality-review gate, publishing, distribution and monitoring, with a brushed line looping the results back to the start.

Two meanings of "static"

Static where it should be. Agentic where it matters.

The pages visitors receive are statically generated — fast and secure, with no WordPress, live database or stack of plugins assembling each page on request. The operation behind those pages is not static: agents research, plan, create, check, publish, distribute and monitor around the site.

Static output is an architectural advantage. Passive operation is the problem.

Still the real work

The agents don’t replace good design and development.

Automation can’t rescue a confusing offer, weak positioning or a site that doesn’t convert. I still do the work that makes the visible site effective.

  • Design shaped by your brand

Your audience, offer, voice and positioning drive the design. The palette, type, spacing and component rules are encoded into the system so new pages don't drift from the brand.

  • Structure based on how customers decide

Navigation and page architecture follow search intent, customer questions and the path to conversion — not your org chart or a generic theme.

  • Conversion paths connected to the business

Calls, forms and appointments are designed around what makes a lead valuable, and can connect to the tools your team uses to qualify, route and follow up.

  • SEO and AI readability from launch

Semantic HTML, structured data, internal linking, redirects and sitemaps are part of the build — plus machine-readable versions that make key business facts easy for AI systems to retrieve.

  • Accessibility built into the process

Semantic structure, keyboard navigation, contrast rules and automated checks catch common failures before production. Formal certification, where required, stays a separate audit.

  • Performance and security by architecture

Pre-rendered pages, fingerprinted assets and fewer runtime dependencies cut load time and attack surface. Speed and stability come from how the site is built, not a plugin added later.

The advantage

It isn’t that it uses AI. It’s that it can act.

Plenty of agencies now put AI in a proposal. That doesn’t make a website agentic. The advantage comes from shortening the distance between seeing an opportunity and doing something useful about it.

Your competitor finds a content gap, adds it to next month’s meeting, waits for a brief, waits for a writer, waits for edits, and eventually publishes one page. Your system can identify the opportunity, prepare the research, build the brief, produce a draft, run its checks and place it in front of the right person for approval — then publish, distribute and monitor the result.

Straight answers, no runaround

Tell me what your website does today.

Tell me what your website does now, what the business needs it to do, and where the current process keeps slowing down. I'll tell you whether you need a rebuild, a better operating system behind it, or both — whether or not you hire me for it.

The engagement

How I build your agentic website.

  1. I learn how the business actually grows

Your services, customers, buying decisions, best leads, competitive position and current marketing process. The agents need an accurate model of the business before they can support it.

  2. I design the growth architecture

The pages, search opportunities, conversion paths, content system, data sources, integrations and approval points — what the website must do beyond looking good.

  3. I design and develop the site

The brand system, layouts and components are built around your positioning, generated as fast, secure static output and verified before launch.

  4. I connect the agents

The right agents are configured for research, strategy, content, SEO, publishing, distribution, quality control and monitoring — with responsibilities and boundaries specific to your business.

  5. We turn on the engine

It starts on a controlled schedule. You can see what was researched, drafted, approved, published, distributed, fixed and flagged, and we improve the workflows using real results.

Why me

Built by a Marketing Engineer, not assembled from parts.

Most website projects split design, development, SEO, content, analytics and automation across different people and platforms. Every handoff loses context.

I’ve spent more than 25 years working across those disciplines. I built the platform because I was tired of watching technically good websites fail as marketing systems, and strong strategies die in the gap between a report and execution.

The website, the data and the marketing workflows need to operate as one system. That is the engineering problem I solve.

Questions

Straight answers about agentic websites.

What is an agentic website?

A website connected to specialized software agents that carry out defined marketing and operational tasks — research, content planning, drafting, SEO checks, publishing, distribution, monitoring and quality assurance. The agents work within rules and approval levels you control.

Is this just an AI website builder?

No. An AI website builder helps produce a design or a page. This platform operates around the website after it's built — the lasting value is the system that keeps researching, publishing, checking and improving, not the novelty of generating the first layout.

Is the website static or agentic?

Both, in different layers. The visitor-facing pages are delivered as static files for speed, security and reliability. The system behind them is agentic and handles the ongoing work around those pages.

Will AI publish content without my approval?

Only if that's the workflow you approve. Content can require human review before publication, and anything below the quality threshold is held automatically. High-risk subject matter should always include expert review.

Do you use WordPress?

Not for new builds on this platform. The visitor-facing site doesn't need WordPress, a runtime database or a stack of plugins. If your current WordPress site is doing its job, I'll tell you whether moving is worth it before recommending a rebuild.

Can my team edit the website?

Yes. Your team can manage approved content and routine page changes without asking me to make every edit.

Do I own the website?

You own your domain, brand, content and business data. Hosting, platform access, portability and handoff terms are defined clearly before the project begins, so nothing is buried in a contract.

What does an agentic website cost?

It depends on the size of the site, the content and integrations required, and which agents and ongoing workflows the business needs. A focused service site and a multi-market publishing system are different projects. I price the system around what it needs to accomplish.

Do you work with agencies?

Yes. I can provide white-label design, development and agentic infrastructure for agencies that need the engineering layer behind their strategy and creative work.
